Xpay Terms & Conditions

By creating an account or using Xpay, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using wallet funding, bill payment, recharge, notification, support or any other Xpay service.
1. Use of Xpay
You must use Xpay only for lawful transactions and personal or business payments that are allowed by applicable law. You agree not to abuse, attack, overload, reverse-engineer, bypass security, commit fraud or misuse Xpay services.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your device, email, password, OTP and account access secure. Xpay will never ask for your password, OTP, wallet PIN, card PIN or full card details. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support immediately.
3. Wallet Funding and Payments
Wallet funding and payments may be processed through Paystack or other approved payment processors. Wallet balance and transaction history are provided to help you track Xpay activity. Payment success depends on confirmation from the payment provider and Xpay verification.
4. Available Services
Xpay may provide services such as electricity, airtime, data, cable TV, internet, education, international airtime and other services released inside the app. Some services may appear as Coming Soon and will only become available when Xpay officially enables them.
5. Correct Customer Details
You must provide correct details before making payment, including phone number, meter number, account number, smartcard/IUC number, provider, service type, package and amount. Xpay may validate details where supported, but you remain responsible for checking that the details are correct before payment.
6. Third-Party Providers
Some services depend on third-party providers such as payment processors, bills providers, notification providers and infrastructure providers. Service delivery may be affected by provider downtime, wrong customer details, network issues, bank delays, validation failures or external system errors.
7. Fees and Charges
Xpay may apply service fees, provider fees, processing fees or operational charges depending on the service. The amount shown before payment is the amount you agree to pay. Some services may have no Xpay fee while others may include an Xpay service fee.
8. Failed Transactions and Reversals
If your wallet is debited and a service fails, Xpay will review the transaction using your reference and provider response. Where applicable, Xpay may reverse the amount to your wallet. Some cases may require provider confirmation before reversal or refund.
9. Receipts and History
Xpay may provide receipts, transaction history, service notifications and payment references. You should keep your transaction reference when reporting a payment or service issue.
10. Coming Soon Services
Services marked Coming Soon are not yet available for public use. Xpay may enable or remove services gradually without deleting the app or requiring users to create a new account.
11. Prohibited Use
You must not use Xpay for fraud, unauthorized access, illegal transactions, stolen payment instruments, abuse of provider systems, false identity, money laundering, suspicious activity or any activity that violates applicable law or Xpay security rules.
12. Account Suspension or Deletion
Xpay may restrict, suspend or disable accounts involved in fraud, suspicious activity, abuse, chargeback abuse, security risk or violation of these terms. You may request account deletion from Settings → Delete Account.
13. Limitation of Liability
Xpay will work to provide reliable services, but we are not responsible for losses caused by wrong customer details, provider downtime, payment provider delays, bank network issues, electricity meter rejection, phone number mistakes, third-party failure, user device compromise or events outside Xpay’s reasonable control.
14. Changes to These Terms
Xpay may update these Terms & Conditions as services, laws or business operations change. The latest version will be shown in the app or on our official website.
